This email is to provide an important update regarding the school bus route servicing the Piha, Waiatarua, and Oratia areas. I am sharing this with the wider community to ensure that everyone who may be impacted has the most current information.
 
As you are aware, there have been changes to this service since the start of the school year. I acknowledge that these adjustments have had a significant impact on many of our families. I want to sincerely thank the community members who have worked behind the scenes over the last few days to collect data; your input has been incredibly helpful in navigating this.
 
We are currently working closely with the Ministry of Education, the service provider, and Auckland Transport to reach an equitable outcome for all students. We are optimistic that we will have further specific details to share later today.
 
Once confirmed, all new information will be posted immediately on our school website under the bus routes tab.
 
We pride ourselves on our strong community spirit, and I truly appreciate your continued patience and assistance as we resolve this.
